Erin and Chris’s Engagement session

One of my most favorite things to do, is to go off in a pair of hiking boots, and explore a few hidden areas, both locally, and of course out in the great big world. I was thrilled when Erin and Chris decided they wanted to take engagement photos in Great Falls. I had been there before for fun, but to have these two beautiful people to photograph while doing one of my favorite activities?! Score! We explored woods, trails, and did a little wading, and a little rock hopping, and maybe got a little bit wet here and there. But it was all worth it. Erin and Chris were up for anything, and though I may have said, okay last photo like 500 times, I am pretty sure they are as happy as I am. 🙂 I can’t wait for your wedding you two! I will you soon!!

    Katelyn and Nick Engagement

I seriously don’t know how I get so lucky to have such amazing couples to work with. Are there just a vast amount of laid back awesome people in the Annapolis area, or am I that blessed to get to meet and work with them? Put on top of that how absolutely gorgeous these two are, and well folks, you have yourself a rocking engagement session. Katelyn and Nick are so fun, and up for anything. Seriously, are photo shoot was really just hanging out together, and exploring the back roads of Annapolis. Yes, it was a 1000 degrees outside. Yes, a cold beer was in order. But these two championed on, and because of it, we have this amazing session to share! Thank you both! Can’t wait for the next adventure!

      Michele and Brad

I first got to meet Michele and Brad together at their engagement session in College Park. There I was cordially welcomed into their wonderful world of goofiness and tenderness in equal parts. They are up for anything, and are such amazing people individually who are comfortable in their own skin. But together, they are just so much fun! I love how off the cuff Brad is and how Michele just rolls with it. These two have so many stories ahead of them,  and I am so very happy they have found each other! I wish you both the very best, and so many wonderful times to come!

Rachel and Nick’s Eastern Shore Engagement Session

        2016-08-03_0064

I met Rachel and Nick through my BFF a few months ago. And frankly, I have to tell said BFF that she has been holding out on me! I cannot even explain how wonderfully awesome it is to know Rachel and Nick. First let’s start with they have a rescue pittie. There are few things that warm my heart than rescue puppies, and they are great fur parents. So that makes me happy. Then let’s talk about just how fun, happy, and absolutely smitten they are with one another. I swear, they made my “job” so easy, as I tell them just to go hang out and love on each other. <3. I also have to give kudos to Nick who picked out engagement session location at an Inn he used to work at when he was younger. The couple, the puppy, the lighting, everything was perfect and came together. I can’t wait for their wedding in May and of course, all the times I plan on hanging out with them till then. ; ) Congratulations you two!!

          Lyndsay and Michael’s DC Engagement

          2016-08-03_0011

Lyndsay and Michael love their city life. The ball games, the restaurants, the charm of DC. So naturally Union Station was the perfect backdrop for their engagement photos. I could not have planned their outfits better! I just love the way Lyndsay’s red dress add that pop of color against the beautiful historic stone. And Michael’s suit is so perfectly complimentary. I know they mentioned they have have been a little nervous to start, but boy do they look so at home in front of the camera. I really didn’t have to do much to just let these two be at home in front of the camera. I guess that is what happens when you only have eyes for one another. We were able to walk around a bit to a couple of other locations including one of Michael’s favorite spots in the city. It’s just a little garden area that most people walk by, but when you take the time to tour through it, it has so much to offer, and I am so glad Michael shared it with my for our photos. I cannot wait for the wedding in 2017! Thank you both for being absolute rock stars!!
