Lindy and Will’s Winter Wedding

There are just to many wonderful things that I think of when I think of Lindy and Will. When you see the two of them together, it is so obvious that they are each others compliment. There is a quiet vivaciousness that Lindy has, and you can tell just how perfectly suited Will is for her. They have a love of all things Baltimore, which of course is an absolute bonus. We had to have the game on while Lindy was getting ready and that just made my day. There wedding had a classic and vintage style. I LOVED the girls champagne colored dresses, and Lindy’s fur wrap. We did a first look at Lindy’s parent’s house, and I am pretty certain I had to help Will pick his jaw up from the ground when he saw her. I loved their intimate wedding at Linwoods. The venue was perfect for them. Elegant, inviting, festive with some of the most delicious food I have ever had. I am so happy to have shared in their wedding. Lindy, Will, and Mason, I wish you a most wonderful new year together, and a lifetime of happiness.

Shannon and John’s Epic Halloween Wedding!

I absolutely LOVE the way Shannon and John embraced Halloween fun with class. One could think that have a giant dinosaur or 500 plus Disney characters at your wedding could make it get a little crazy. But somehow, their wedding was just the right concoction of Halloween festivities with elegant ballroom. Her attention to detail even include family photos where she and John were Mr. and Ms. (at the time) Frankenstein. Shannon made all of their center pieces, had a fun crafts table for the kids, a trick or treat candy selection, and of course a costume contest. Her guests did not disappoint. We had so many fabulous costumes like special guests Wesley and Buttercup from the Princess Bride, E-T and Elliott, Edgar Allen Poe and his Raven, and of course the couple of the hour, Mr and Mrs Frankenstein who showed up later in the evening in time to cut their cake and show off their crazy dance moves. Shannon and John wanted their friends and family to be there and just have a fun celebration, without their evening being too planned out for them. They did a first look, and even had their cocktail hour before their wedding! (Genious!!) Their venue in downtown Baltimore Tabriz’s was absolutely perfect. The weather was what every fall bride could hope for, and the night could not have been more magical. Congratulations to you both, and thank you for letting share in your wedding!

      Abby and Lee’s Engagement Session

So I would really love to do two blogs on Abby and Lee’s engagement session. One in black and white, and one in color, because that is how much I love them! First of all, I must give mad props to Abby for her outfit selection. I love the casual autumn feel of her jean outfit, her elegant winter coat, and the colors of her cranberry colored dress with Lee’s ensemble. Next, Vince their pup is just dashing in his tux. I mean, it’s perfection! Also a thank you for Abby’s mom with for not being shy and her quick thinking in asking the deli next door for a cold hot dog. Vince thanks you, and I thank you. Seriously though, these two are so amazing! I loved LOVED getting to know them. And exploring the little town of Clifton VA, and then swinging by Paradise Springs Winery for a few photos at dusk. I had such an amazing time with you both, and really am so exciting for your wedding next summer. You are getting married in one of my favorite venues! (No teasers here). Congratulations to you both! 2017 will be here before we know it! <3

Megan and Jason’s Wedding at Herrington on the Bay!

From the first moment I met Megan I knew she was someone amazing. She is one of those people that when they enter a room, everything is just a little bit more wonderful. The whole room is just full of sunshine. I am so blessed to have gotten to know both her and Jason. Not only because their wedding was off the charts (more on that later), but because they are just a blast to be around. You would think, no one can be that happy all of the time, but I swear, they can! They are that couple. And no, it’s not annoying. : ) It is so absolutely wonderful to be around! Know for the wedding!! Jason first started his morning with his groomsmen at the barber for a hot shave. Then he and his groomsmen need a little sustenance in the form a delicious Guinness at the Galway Bay Irish Pub in downtown Annapolis. They then went on to get dressed at the fabulous Capital Custom Clothiers who had arranged their fabulous morning for them. Meanwhile Megan and her bridesmaids were living it up at the Inn at Herrington on the Bay which boasts gorgeous water views in a cozy cottage. Naturally there was some bubbly, great music, laughter, tears, the works! The day was a bit windy, but we dodged the hurricane thank goodness, and really had beautiful and warm weather! Oh, and I almost forgot to mention their choreographed dance moves with the bridal party during the reception! I mean really!! How epic can one wedding be?! Megan and Jason, I have loved getting to know you both! And I know your life will be full of laughter and adventure! I wish you both the best!

          Jessica and Stephen’s Wedding

Jessica and Stephen have such an amazing story when you think of all the many choices and passions in life that brought them together. I am sure this is true for each of our stories, but it still amazes me, and warms my heart when I hear their story. Stephen, with his passion and love for Nigeria and then aiding students with their papers at college, – Jessica, Nigerian-American getting assistance on one of her papers. So many little things through out their lives brought them together, and made them who they are. These two are so very similar in their dedication, their work ethic, the way they love one another. I loved being a part of their wedding, and sharing the joy these two families have in coming together. And I LOVED the clothing, the colors, and the Nigerian music that was played throughout the night. What a festive and wonderful celebration. I wish you both the best of luck and much happiness in your life together!
